Judges said:  With visitors encouraged to stay in this expansive campground for longer periods, up to 14 days, the construction of an all-weather footpath was a genius idea, allowing visitors to easily access all the other experiences in Texas, such as the unique Rabbit Works Museum and the country hospitality at the Stockman Hotel. The Goondwindi Regional Council is to be commended for securing this land for community stays, and then identifying and investing in ways to improve the visitor experience.
